Happy Birthday Scarlett!

Every birthday must be celebrated with a photo shoot. I try to do a different location every year with new ideas. My one-year-old had her photos taken in Laguna Beach this year with a pink crown and cake. For this shoot I tried out Irvine Regional Park. So many options here and lots of bunnies to chase!
On Monday we celebrated my first born's third birthday! What?! Three years old?! I know what you're thinking . . . "She's so old!" It's true, she's pretty much a teenager now.

I told her not to grow anymore and she told me (with a very big pouty lip), "But I want to grow up Mommy." Oh dear . . .
The girl keeps us thoroughly entertained on a daily basis. I love her so much and I am glad that she
lets me follow her around with a camera!

Orange County Photographer- Mini-Sessions!

Blossoms are popping and the sun is setting later, which means it is time for Mini-Sessions!
This is a great opportunity for huge savings with Abinante Photography and only happens once a season.

Stepping with Sofi

Yesterday I was asked to document a mother returning from Europe after adopting a sweet little girl. The husband and five sons were waiting anxiously at the terminal to meet the newest member of their family. This family has worked tirelessly over the past two years to adopt Sofi. She was born with Spina Bifida and this family knew she was meant to be with them.  The sweetest moment was seeing a father with his new daughter and the smile it brought to her face when she looked into his eyes. If only everyone in that airport new what they were witnessing. The world would have stopped.

A Little Piece of Heaven

This morning I had the opportunity to photograph a new spirit not even a day old. I went to the hospital to greet the new family of five. The morning sun was peeking it's way through the windows and everything seemed to align perfectly for a gorgeous newborn shoot.
